Why is the video not playing on my phone?

When phones are in Low Power mode, the autoplay of video is disabled to save battery. This is a hardware constraint which is not possible to bypass.

Uploading an image to the Poster image field will provide a fallback option of showing a background image instead of the video when the video cannot play.

Why is the video not playing on any device?

First, ensure that the video is not set to Private on YouTube or Vimeo. The video needs to be set to Public, Unlisted, or Hide from Vimeo in order to be embedded on other websites.

Users who have previously installed the app called Video Background by Shop Circle have reported issues with Video Loop Hero, even after the other app is uninstalled. The app is leaving behind code in your theme that must be removed manually.

I turned the audio toggle on, why is sound off when the video plays?

All modern devices and browsers will prevent sound from automatically playing on page load. The app adheres to this standard and will require the user to turn the sound on manually with the sound icon.

How do I change the position of the text?

If you’d like to change the position of the text overlay, it is possible by adding a few lines of CSS to the Custom CSS field. Please contact support with your request and we will assist you.
